I just returned from The Bureau’s Biz Dev Camp, which was another example of how The Bureau has continued to amaze me since I joined a few years ago. In 2021/2022, I was treading water professionally and not very inspired after 15ish years on my own. One of the things I did at that time was join The Bureau after hearing about for many, many years from Brian Williams.
Joining The Bureau was the best decision I’ve made professionally this decade. Part professional development/part support group, the people I’ve met online (and now off) within The Bureau are extremely insightful, wise, open to learning, listening and helping, and most of all kind. Carl Smith has really built something special and he is also from my hometown (DUUUVAL!). Had an awesome time in Atlanta this week — learned a ton of great business development tips and had a blast. Definitely looking forward to more in-person Bureau events in the future!
